We had a somewhat spontaneous cleanup on Monday with the WRWC at Contech Medical in Providence. We've been here many times with them, and the most recent rain storms have brough out quite a bit of litter from the river. Here, we typically find evidence of dumping as well.
The folks at WRWC are some of our favorites - we've collaborated many times in the past. Monday's cleanup also included a few dozen volunteers from their group. Litter was a mix of the typical light plastics, styrofoam, and paper products. We also found a few tires and some furniture.
