About us

The idea of Cozy Rhody developed from watching the litter problem in Providence-- and even Rhode Island at large-- develop and remain largely ignored by city officials and higher-up politicians. When we do a clean-up, we are often told by locals living in the neighborhood that they've been calling about the problem location for months, to no avail. Overwhelmingly, these overlooked locations are in poorer neighborhoods with more diversity than cleaner parts of the city. Have a location that needs our attention? Let us know.
